- Our consultants may discuss the customer’s requirements, project expectations, budget and potential scope of work.
- Site visits may be offered free of charge or on a paid basis, depending on the project, location, requirements and mutual discussion with the consultant.
- Any applicable site visit charges will be communicated to the customer before the visit is confirmed.
- A site visit, consultation or initial discussion does not automatically create a contractual obligation for either party.
- Measurements and observations made during a site visit are subject to verification where necessary before project execution.
5. Quotations and Project Approval
- After understanding the customer’s requirements and, where necessary, conducting a site visit, we may prepare and share a project quotation.
- Each quotation will specify the applicable scope of work, estimated costs, materials, specifications and other relevant project conditions.
- The quotation may also specify its validity period, payment schedule, estimated completion period and applicable warranty conditions.
- Quotations are prepared based on the information, requirements and site conditions available at the time of preparation.
- Any changes in requirements, specifications, measurements, materials or site conditions may require a revised quotation.
- A project will proceed only after the customer has accepted the quotation and the mutually agreed commercial terms have been confirmed in writing.
- We reserve the right not to accept a project enquiry or proceed with a project where the requirements cannot be mutually agreed upon.
6. Design, Drawings and Planning
- Design concepts, layouts, drawings and planning services will be provided where included in the agreed project scope.
- Any design fees, consultation charges, drawing charges or revision arrangements will be discussed with the customer and communicated before the relevant work begins.
- Design approvals and changes should be confirmed in writing, including through email or WhatsApp.
- Any additional design work or revisions beyond the agreed scope may involve additional charges and time.
- We are not obligated to provide design services or drawings that have not been included in the agreed quotation or separately approved arrangement.
7. Pricing, Payments and Taxes
- All prices will be communicated in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Applicable GST and other statutory taxes will be charged as required by law and as specified in the quotation.
- Payment amounts, advance payments, instalments, milestones and payment deadlines will be mutually discussed between the customer and our consultant.

- Customers must make payments through payment methods and accounts authorized by Kingsmen Interiors.
- Customers should obtain payment receipts for transactions made to the company.
- We reserve the right to pause work if agreed payments are not received within the applicable payment timelines. Any resulting schedule changes will be communicated to the customer.

8. Customer Responsibilities
Customers engaging our services are expected to:
- Provide accurate project information, measurements and requirements.
- Arrange necessary access to the property for site inspections and project execution.
- Obtain applicable permissions from property owners, landlords, housing societies, resident welfare associations or other relevant authorities, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Provide access to essential facilities such as water and electricity where required for the work, unless otherwise agreed.
- Remove or appropriately protect valuables, personal belongings and fragile items before work begins.
- Communicate relevant information about existing structural issues, leakage, dampness, electrical problems or other known site conditions.
- Review and approve designs, materials, specifications and project changes in a timely manner.
- Make payments according to the mutually agreed schedule.
Delays or additional costs arising from the customer’s failure to fulfil these responsibilities may affect the project timeline and cost.
9. Changes and Additional Work
- Any changes requested by the customer after approval of the quotation may affect the project cost, materials and completion timeline.
- Additional work not included in the original quotation will be separately assessed and quoted.
- We will communicate the additional charges and applicable timeline before proceeding with such work.
- Additional work will be undertaken only after customer approval through an appropriate written communication.
- Any approved changes will form part of the agreed project scope.
Work arising from unforeseen site conditions will also be handled through this process wherever additional work or costs are involved.
10. Project Timelines and Delays
- Estimated project timelines will be discussed with the customer and communicated in the quotation or written project confirmation.
- Completion timelines depend on project size, scope, material availability, site access, customer approvals and other relevant factors.
- Delays caused by late payments, changes in requirements, delayed approvals, restricted site access, third-party contractors or unforeseen site conditions may affect the completion date.
- Events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, floods, government restrictions, strikes, supply disruptions and other force majeure events, may also affect project schedules.
- We will make reasonable efforts to inform customers about significant delays and revised estimated completion dates.
11. Site Conditions and Unforeseen Issues
- Existing properties may contain concealed problems such as leakage, dampness, damaged wiring, concealed plumbing issues, uneven flooring or structural defects.
- Certain issues may not be identifiable during the initial site inspection and may become visible only after work begins.
- If additional work is required because of such conditions, we will inform the customer and discuss the additional scope, charges and timeline.
- Such additional work will be undertaken after the customer’s approval.
- Structural engineering assessments, specialized certifications and statutory approvals are not included unless expressly mentioned in the quotation.
12. Materials and Workmanship
- We aim to use materials, brands and specifications mentioned in the approved quotation.
- Material availability may vary depending on suppliers and market conditions.
- Where a specified material becomes unavailable, any proposed alternative will be communicated to the customer for approval before substitution.
- Natural materials such as wood, stone, marble, granite and veneer may have natural variations in colour, grain and pattern.
- Minor variations inherent in natural materials and manufacturing processes will not automatically constitute defects.
- If customers provide their own materials, appliances or fittings, we are not responsible for their quality, suitability, manufacturer defects or availability.
- Additional labour or installation costs resulting from customer-supplied materials may be quoted separately.
13. Third-Party Vendors and Service Providers
- Depending on the nature of a project, we may engage qualified vendors, suppliers, specialists and subcontractors for specific activities.
- Such parties may include carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, welders, fabricators, glass installers and other skilled professionals.
- We will coordinate the relevant work according to the agreed project scope.
- Manufacturer warranties and third-party product warranties will remain subject to the respective manufacturer’s or supplier’s conditions.
14. Project Completion and Handover
- Upon completion of the agreed work, the customer may inspect the completed project.
- Any visible outstanding items or workmanship concerns should be communicated to us within a reasonable period following inspection.
- We will review genuine concerns relating to the agreed scope and discuss an appropriate resolution.
- The time required to address outstanding items will depend on their nature, material availability and site accessibility.
- Final payments will be made according to the payment terms agreed in the quotation.
- Following handover, customers are responsible for the proper use, maintenance and care of completed work, subject to any applicable warranty commitments.
15. Warranty and After-Sales Support
- Any workmanship warranty, product warranty or after-sales commitment applicable to a project will be specified in the relevant quotation or separate written agreement.
- Warranty coverage, duration and conditions may vary depending on the nature of the work, materials, products and services provided.
- Manufacturer warranties for products, appliances, hardware and equipment will be governed by the respective manufacturer’s policies.
- Warranty coverage does not generally extend to damage resulting from misuse, negligence, accidents, unauthorized modifications, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear or external causes unrelated to our work.
- Customers requesting warranty or after-sales assistance should contact us with the relevant project details and supporting information.
- Any repair or maintenance service outside the agreed warranty coverage may be chargeable, subject to a separate estimate.
Nothing in this section excludes any mandatory rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.
16. Cancellation and Termination
- Customers wishing to cancel or discontinue a project should communicate their request to us in writing.
- If cancellation occurs before project execution begins, charges may apply for consultation, design, drawings, services already provided or other costs previously agreed with the customer.
- If cancellation occurs after work has started, customers remain responsible for payment for completed work, materials purchased or ordered, custom-made items, committed expenses and other agreed charges incurred for the project.
- Custom-made or made-to-measure products may not be eligible for cancellation or return once manufacturing or production has commenced, subject to applicable law.
- Any applicable refund will be calculated after considering completed work, committed costs, amounts already received and the agreed cancellation conditions.
- Either party may seek termination of the project arrangement in the event of a material breach by the other party, subject to applicable law and any agreed notice or remedy process.
17. Intellectual Property
